iPhone 8/Plus Camera starts zoomed in (iPhone 8)

When i open my camera app the phone starts with a zoomed in view and after 1 sec comes back to nomal. I never had this before with my iphone 8 or 7, 12 etc..

Any idea on what this is / how to solve?
