Looking at the Canon 17-40 there, for around $550. Anyone have any experience with cameras.com?

Er, cameras.com isn't a store. It's just a bunch of Google ads/links to other places.

Edit: Okay, Best Price Cameras is one of the most prevalent scam sites out there. Always check online retailers at Reseller Ratings...as you can see, Best Price (and its other incarnations) has an amazingly awful lifetime rating of 0.15 out of 10.
