Cammand and Conquer Generals, Can i play it online with PC's?

I was just wondering if anybody knows if i can play command and conquer generals online with PC's. Even if its just a 1vs1 LAN or Direct connect with my friend. Surely you can connect to a PC with direct connect via IP address, not using game-ranger? Anyway my mate could get game-ranger for his PC, just anyway for us to play together really?!

Sorry, but neither CnC or Game Ranger is cross-platform. Now, if you were to run Boot Camp and then play CnC under that, you'd have no problems.
