Can 13" MBA handle iTunes HD movies well?

I am considering buying the newest 13" MBA with the 2.13 GHz processor and 4GB ram with 256GB flash storage. Is this machine totally able to play HD movies purchased from the iTunes store?

It plays 720p MKVs just fine for me and they have higher bitrate than iTunes HD stuff.
