Well I plan on getting a macbook if its released in may and I know that since it's a rev A it'll have some issues...I'll be getting it from USA but wont recieve it for a couple of weeks and then take it to australia...Now this will take around a month since date of purchase maybe more...If during this time I realise anything's wrong wit it can i send it back to apple in australia....will they take it back there? coz i suppose apple's warranty is international...

Also check if Australia supports AppleCare.

I bought a G3 iBook when they were first released on eBay, for £480, which was way cheaper than the £749 Apple price tag.
It didn't come with any receipts, proof of purchases, nothing.
I got the machine, from the USA, registered it in my name, in the (UK) and I got the 90 days telephone support, and the standard 12 months warranty, in a country different than its origin (I was in the UK, the product was shipped from the US)
It was even eligible for UK-AppleCare, so you could buy your Oz AppleCare back home and be fully covered for 3 years
..By Serial No., Apple could even tell me when it was made, where it was made, and to what company it was sent to for reselling, all from their UK based computers - so I think its true that Apples warranty does indeed extend internationally.
Good luck with your new purchase, and if you get the new MacBook before me, I hate you

You should be fine. I had problems with the slot drive on my iBook (which I bought in the UK) and took it to an Apple store while on holiday in Florida. The problem was taken care of in 5 days and cost me nothing.
See, me and Lunja seem to have slightly reversed situations, but Apple swooped in and helped both times

Well, being only 17 its a little hard to pay for my Computers straight up - either you older Adults are fortunate enough to have a few £K in your Bank Accounts, or you use credit cards... ahhh the bliss!
Once the MacBook is released I should have it within about a fortnight, sell my iMac then add some cash and order.
Keep that for around 9 months, the order my MacBook Pro for Uni of September next year.
