Can AirPods 2 awnser calls via voice

i just ordered a pair of AirPod 2’s through t-mobile And had a question. On a old Bluetooth headset I had I think it was a blue ant headset it would announce the call in your ear and you could say answer to answer the call without having to tap it. Since the new AirPods will listen for hey Siri I’m wondering if the new AirPods can do this or is it possible with a future firmware. It’s helpful if you have your hands full


Also helpful tip if you order through T-Mobile. The website is a bit wonky right now the AirPods with wireless charging case in stock between hitting add to cart and finishing the transaction the transaction will crash. They have two other models listed AirPods and AirPods with charging case. No where in the product description does it saw if it’s AirPod 1 or 2 gen. After calling and talking to a rep the AirPods with charging case are the 2nd gen the just AirPods are first gen

Not possible to answer a call with Siri, as far as I am aware.
