Hi all

I'm new to iPods so please forgive the newbie question!

I've just uploaded a few albums and I see that the tracks are listed with no number. They ARE in the correct order. So that's all good. But if I could choose, I would have the track number (from metadata) displayed as well.

Is that a possibility or a no-no on the iPod Classic?

Cheers

If i understand rightly...
You want to display track no when playing tracks
or
when you navigate to album and list of track appear & you want to see track numbers.

I haven't seen this in my iPOD.. i guess it's not supported by firmware.
but you edit "Title" metadata and append it with track no.

Actually, both would be my preference....

Yes, I think you are right. This is just something the iPod does not do. As for appending it to the Title metadata.... I was not too keen to begin with, but on reflection perhaps it isn't such a bad idea....

Cheers for the thoughts
