I have been accumulating a large number of videos and at present I have ~700GB in my iTunes Library.

I have have not had any problems until now but today I cannot get either Apple TVs (I have one in the living room and one in my bedroom) to see my home PC's iTunes with Home Sharing.

As I said everything was fine until today so I am pretty sure everything is setup fine. The only thing I can think of that has changed is the addition of some songs and videos since I last connected.

Could my library bee too big? Does anyone have any ideas?

I doubt it's the size of your library. I have 200 or so movies & 46K songs but have seen others with larger movie collections that aren't having issues. I had the issue you describe where my iTunes library couldn't be seen by the ATV. Some combination of reboots of the ATV & Mac eventually fixed it and it hasn't returned. Are you wired or wireless? I had this happen more frequently with my old ATV with wireless.

I doubt your library is too big. I've got over 2tb of stuff that my atv runs fine wirelessly.

If its a problem where both apple tvs can not connect, i'd gus that the computer hosting the library needs to be restarted configured correctly.

Thanx everyone. Not sure why but it was the router. It was allowing access to the internet (iTunes and Netflix) but somehow blocked the home sharing. Rebooting the router fixed the problem.
