This isn't specific to iOS 17, but why are all the Apple apps seemingly in random order in Settings? And why are some of them in a separate group? It took me a hot minute to find 'Camera' because I was only looking in the top group of apps. (Yes, I know I could have just searched for it instead.)

Similar thing can be seen in Privacy & Security.

I have been asking myself this for years, why don't Apple present this list in alphabetical order.
Alas, we are talking about Apple, right. Thus, they do what they want, and tell us how we should have the data present itself...

Apple is weird. Some details they do very well, and some details they appear to ignore completely, much at the irritation and bother to the customer. I'm surprised this particular issue has not been brought up and addressed by now. It seems like it would be a very easy fix to make their menus less chaotic. The trend has been adding chaos at each iOS (and now probably macOS) update.

Is the same with other places like email accounts and wallet: you can't reorder them manually or automatically to suit yourself. Completely random, when all they needed for these was an edit button and move hamburger buttons (≡) next to each item.
