Has anyone experienced this error when upgrading Cydia?

Once my phone rebooted, when I open Cydia all I get is

Type 'rsh' is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/saurik.list

I searched for that error on this forum and couldn't find anything...I did find on the modmyi forum this suggested solution, but I'm confused because when I clicked the link he posted it was just a bunch of weird sentences and I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to replace what with that (if that makes sense)?

Thanks Primology!, your file and instruction helped fix both an iPhone 3GS and iPad 1 with the 'rsh' error.

A new update on Cydia seems to be the problem (June 19, 2014) as soon as updated with recent recommended files as directed on Cydia, got the 'rsh' error on both devices and no more access to sources, packages, etc.
Using iFunbox deleted the saurik.list file as per your instructions, then replaced with your file you kindly posted via mediafire and both units are working perfect again.

Thanks again! Never could have done it without your assistance. :)

And a little advice , let the Delete button be ur last resort (don't rush)

Can anyone offer either advice on whether the above is sound advice for this problem (and if so, how I should go about doing this), or if there is something else I should do to solve the problem?

I have iFile and Funbox.

THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO OFFER!!

following those instructions and using ifile, browse to /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ and replace the saurik.list file with the downloaded one

Thanks...that completely worked but left a new problem...

Thanks so much, I did this which worked. Then when I went to reboot my phone I got stuck in an endless boot screen with the apple...I restarted it in safe mode and checked ifile and it's still got the downloaded text in the saurik.list file.

And unlike before, Cydia now works and loads everything.

I checked the apps I had recently installed or updated to see if it could have been a twofold problem, but the only things I have installed since the problem started are the "mandatory" Cydia upgrades and when I tried to remove them it said it was dangerous and iOS might not work anymore...

Do you have any ideas? I'd be so grateful!

Also, I don't know if this gives any clues but when I do boot it in safe mod none of my tweaks/mods are in effect and there is no list in settings that shows the Cydia apps I have as you normally see...

because safe mode essentially disables tweaks so you have the chance to enter cydia and uninstall the offending tweaks

try uninstalling cydiasubstrate from cydia while in safe mode and see if you can boot up normally now
