Can anyone comment on overall stability of 18.1 on M4 IPad?

i know it’s a beta and there will be bugs. I’m just curious about basic stability compared to 18.0, which I found quite stable for basic use.

Safari is a little slower than 18 beta 4, otherwise pretty solid. Did have a Mail sending bug where it wasn’t shutting the window after sending, but did a restart and that seems to have helped (at least for now).

It’s been pretty stable for me so far. This is day 3 for me on 18.1

Yeah from what I have used, it works fine. But the thing with Betas if you make your money on LR on the IPad, I wouldn’t recommend upgrading to it. There may be some bugs that come up in your workflow that is different from how I use it.

Agreed. It’s just a hobby and the photos are well backed up, but I like using the pencil. I mostly consume media and browse.

Not bad. Latest beta and im at 86% with intermittent use throughout the day. M4 pro

I'm really looking forward to using the new iPadOS. I really have been indecisive about using a public beta version knowing that if there are battery or sync issues, it would drive me bonkers. September can't come soon enough!!
