Can anyone confirm if Spotlight can use Google?

I heard Apple was going to drop Google and only use Bing for spotlight. I wanna know this too, would be a shame if we wouldn't be able to change it.
I've read that it'll be able to use DuckDuckGo, which would be fantastic. I just wish they would incorporate Wolfram Alpha like they did with Siri (for conversions and other computations).
Frankly I'm glad that they are excluding Google if that is what they're doing. Safari already defaults to Google (as does Chrome obviously).
I often forget to use other search engines and I suspect other people do to. It's a terrible thing always seeing the internet through the lens one particular company and their particular algorithms.
I'd say that this will help you guys use google less, be happy.

Actually you can set default search engine in Safari preferences (Google, Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo) . Apple might have just changed the default option for it when you do a clean install, so that's probably it. And when coming from Mavericks, google remained the default setting for it.

Just tried some other terms. It looks like there is no web search other than wikipedia and Maps. I guess Bing will be added later.

Depends on your issue with "literally". The definition was changed recently and now saying "I literally died when...." is considered an acceptable use of the word as a way of emphasising a point. Trust me.
As for the OP, at 18min 30sec in the keynote a slide was shown when Craig was on about "tapping into sources not local to your mac" and Bing was on there although he didn't mention it in the speech. Like the OP I'd hope that can be changed. I'm never as happy with Bing search results and usually have to go to Google anyway to find what I'm after. Maybe it's better in the US but in the UK I find Bing usually falls short.
Actually my spotlight only delivers search results made locally on the computer and attached external disks... no google, wikipedia or other internet suggestions...
