Still can't understand what's the fuss with that bing...
Safari uses google, spotlight suggests wikipedia page based on keyword or shows history of your visited pages. Not a single time I was redirected to bing or prompted to do so.
Actually you can set default search engine in Safari preferences (Google, Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo) . Apple might have just changed the default option for it when you do a clean install, so that's probably it. And when coming from Mavericks, google remained the setting for it.
I mean for search suggestions and such. It currently uses Bing which (imo) is pretty terrible outside of the US.
That's not search engine, that's just your browsing history. I assume you searched for "calories nsobjects" in google (Safari) before.

I could care less about that. A whole lot less because I do care a good bit. Now we need to work on literally and trust me.
