So there was an ad made that I want to watch again and somehow figure out how to reproduce myself using my own pictures. I think it was made with Motion. but it is basically like there is something that build with little blocks and the blocks are pictures of different stuff. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I can't find it on Youtube or their site.

those effects are a part of Core Animation; they'll be a screen saver in Leopard, I think.

Here is how you can do it w/o Leopard or Motion.

but i don't know what I could use to make this without Motion because that seems like a pretty complicated program. hmm... templates or something.

I think it was customized via Apple devs. But it's the screen saver in Tiger (with your own images of course). You can wait until then and just record your mac's screen when leopard comes out.

Just a bunch of code that gets randomized - much like kens burns effects in imovie
