I'm very happy Apple is adding a scanning feature to the Files app in iOS 13. However, I'm only seen screenshots that show the scan text button.

I'm wondering if scanning in the Files app in ios 13 works like a normal scanner app (ie: it creates a PDF that looks like it's a black and white copy of a document). Or does the scanning in the Files app just take a picture of the document?

Any screenshots of the scanning function in action would be appreciated!

It works either way.

It’s pretty much the Notes scanning thing, but now in Files (and also in Mail) and I believe it is an API so any app can use it!
