Glad a few people responded before it was brought here to die
Except there were no responses about anything that was related to what you actually asked about, given that outside of the jailbreak section not much related to jailbreak tweaks really gets discussed. So how are those responses useful as far as what you were wondering about?

Is your device already on 9.3 or are you just asking before you attempt the JB?

Those 'geniuses' are not necessarily genius by nature.
And even if they are, they still likely can't really make sure of what iOS version is loaded on a particular replacement device that someone might be getting.

Exactly...all this is an exercise in what-if.

Get the device back and then we'll talk.

Why wouldn't they know what software the devices are loaded with? They handle and boot them daily.

They don't know what is loaded on a device that is essentially in a sealed box that they would open up for someone to replace their device with.

They know what most of the ones they've opened have been lately which is a good indication of what I will get.
