Can Apple make Music.app and TV.app Home Sharing more like bought media?

Ever since Apple re-did the Music.app and TV.app (Videos.app), one thing I've noticed - your self ripped Music and Videos are not treated the same as their purchased counterparts from iTunes. And its driving me nuts!

Music.app when Home Sharing from an iTunes Library

1. You have to tap 'Library' than Home Sharing than <'XYZ's> Library' - too many steps!
2. You can't use the universal 'search' tab in the Music.app
3. You can't use Spotlight to search for items
4. You can't download all or some items right from the Music.app

TV.app when Home Sharing from an iTunes Library

1. You have to tap 'Library' than Home Sharing than <'XYZ's> Library' - too many steps!
   
2. You can't use the universal 'search' tab in the TV.app
   
3. You can't use Spotlight to search for items
   
4. You can't download all or some items right from the TV.app
   
5. You can't see your metadata like Chapters, Director, Description, etc
6. The 'Up Next' feature within 'Watch Now' doesn't save and sync your play history
7. Their isn't a 'Genre' tab (like the Music.app) has - a Director tab is badly needed too!

it sucks you can't search for your iTunes videos with the Apple TV. I completely agree with you on these points.
