I have the newest Time Capsule which runs 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHZ wifi simultaneously. Both my computers though only support 802.11g, so they connect using the 2.4 GHZ band. I'm thinking about buying an Apple TV but I'm wondering if I can connect it to the Time Capsule's 5 GHZ band so I can have faster downloads, but still sync or stream from the computers that are on the same network but on the 2.4 GHZ band.
I know that using Airport Utility I can give the 5 GHZ band a different network name to force the older devices to the 2.4 GHZ band, so they don't slow down 802.11n devices like the Apple TV. But will the Apple TV be able to "see" them and connect with them?
