I have a few running useing locatrions. one I want to start a timer when I arrive and I have one to turn wifi on and off as I leave and arrive. But I will get a notification and I have to start it manually. I want it to just run on its own can this be done?

If you're lucky, you'll get a notification saying you've arrived/left and will have to start it manually.

If you're unlucky, it'll do absolutely nothing, as many location-based shortcuts don't ever get triggered in iOS 13.

They may be called automations, but they aren't. Every automation requires you to interact with the phone.

I think this is almost a complete failure of a feature. I was also disappointed that I actually still had to interact with my phone for a few location based “automations”. While it does cut down the amount of steps I would need to make to achieve my goal. It’s coming up short on being a perfect feature in my eyes. Fingers crossed it’s something that will change one day.

I was hoping I missed something but I guess not. it is not even super reliable though it seems to ave gotten better.
