Title says it all, maybe I'm just blind as a bat and unable to find it in this app, but the main thing that interests me on wallstreet is the commodity markets. Can Bloomberg display the price of oil, natural gas, gold, corn, pork bellies, and the other big commodities similar to the left hand column on their home page?

Not seeing it if you can! Anyone have any idea?

I tried searching for the commodities by their ticker name, and it couldn't even find them. So I am going to guess no, which is a shame, but you can find them using the Stock App that was pre-installed.

I expressed my interest in feedback form to bloomberg last night and this is the response that I got. Hope this helps everyone.

The iPhone application that Bloomberg has is very beautiful. However, is there a way you could easily integrate a way to follow the price of crude oil, and other commodities? Thanks again. The application is very handy and very well developd. Thank you.

Thank you for your feedback. A section in the World Markets page is planned to give some basic Commodity and Currency information. This will be part of a future enhancement.

I'm TOTALLY clueless on stocks, futures, etc. I would like to know the daily prices however, of Gold, silver & platinum. Doesn't matter if they're off by 30 minutes or whatever - but I'd like to be able to summon these on my iPhone - are the codes you cited above for futures or actual current prices?

I entered the codes for silver & gold (above) into the iPhone's default stock app - but not sure how to interpret what the prices are I'm seeing - current, future, or??

I'm wanting Gold/Silver/Plat prices at New York spot.

Thanks!

adding in the future stock symbols is the only way that I have found to get the gold/silver/oil prices
