I was wondering if my iPhone can stay lit when I have it docked because then it is easy to see if I have any messages or changes on the screen. I noticed that it did it once for me but cannot figure out if that was luck or if there is something that I need to enable. When the phone is docked, I unlock it and bring it to the home screen, but one minute later it goes black.

Go:

Settings- General- Auto-Lock- (Change to never)

I think that should make it stay lit all the time, meaning you'll have to use the button on top to turn off the screen.

Why don't I see "never" on the auto-lock options?
