Okay, So I have read alot about imacs using bootcamp for running windows based games. Being new to a mac (three weeks) I dont fully understand how it all works. I think It would be easier to ask everybody what I want to do and let you tell me if I can do it.

So.... I want to be able to download games etc (Simcity4, Age of Empires 2 and Rollercoaster tycoon 3 and maybe Flight simulator) using Vuze, and them play them on my imac.

Do I have to install bootcamp and run them via that or can they run from Os x directly? I will only being using bootcamp for playing games and using powerpoint etc. If I have it installed on the mac can I get virus's??

Sorry these may sound like crap questions but I'm not sure of what to do. (Hell I still dont know where my downloads go..... They seem to be in a big pop list next to the trash can. If i delete them from here do I loose the file?

Thanks for any help.

downloading illegal software downloading isnt allowed to be talked about here mate.

but to answer your question on running games. you can only run osx games if the game is for osx if it isnt and it is a windows only game then you will need to run it on windows through bootcamp. there is software though that can run SOME games check out crossover mac or crossover games mac.

Yep, got the originals for all my games but Flight Sim.... I have since read some more about flight sim and it doesn't seem to be worth all the hassle. Its a pity they dont make it for Mac os X Yet!

Any free games for Mac out there in the vein of hearts, solitaire and the like. I think only chess comes pre loaded. Thanks for your help..
