I used to have MobileMe but no longer have it. If I reactivate my subscription, can I download and use the iDisk app on my iPhone WITHOUT MobileMe email, calendar and contacts syncing? Will my iPhone automatically sync contacts/calendar/email with MobileMe when I access the iDisk from the phone or connect to iTunes on my computer?

I would like to be able to access iDisk without any of these other things syncing/pushing to my phone. Is this possible?

TIA :)

iDisk app on the iPhone is a standalone App. You enter the username and password directly in the App and start using your iDisk on the iPhone, no MobileMe configuration under iPhone settings necessary. The same for the Gallery App.

In the case of the Find my iPhone App to work, you must configure MobileMe under settings on the iPhone, but only activate the Find my iPhone option.

Thanks for the response. After some research it sounds like Dropbox would work well for me. I'm going to give that a try first since it's free.

Dumb question, but with iDisk can I save files from my iDisk onto my iPhone? ie: if I put an iTunes song into the iDisk folder from my computer, can I then access it on my iPhone and save it to my music on my iPhone?
