Can I activate on a different computer than I want to sync to?

Hi all,

When I get my iphone today (hopefully) can I activate it using my laptop even though I'll be syncing it with my main computer at home? Easy question... just checking.

Since AT&T offers (or at least they did at one time) to activate for you on their computers before sending you home to sync all your content, the answer's gotta be "yes."
