Can I activate with ATT an already 1.1.2 JB iPhone?

I've got a jailbroken iPhone with the current 1.1.2 firmware. I haven't unlocked it and put in my T-Mobile Sim, because it's got the new bootloader which hasn't been hacked apparently.

My question is, can I activate my soon to be new ATT sim card on the jailbroken phone without restoring?

without restoring? i dont think you can. i think you have to restore it so itunes can contact its servers to activate your phone with AT&T.
