I've missed a load of notifications (phone calls, messages etc) because even though I have the 'ringer' on maximum, I have TuneIn on a low volume. It seems the notifications are coming in at the TuneIn volume rather than the 'ringer' volume.

thanks in advance - I'm sure I've missed something simple here as this must be a very niche usecase
[doublepost=1541025642][/doublepost]I'm hoping I've missed a really simple thing in ios - so that I can have notifications on maximum volume at the same time I have music/radio playing at a very low volume.

My understanding has been that notifications follow ringer volume and not the media volume (or Siri volume, which is also separate). In settings the volume control for ringer is even labeled as "Ringer and Alerts" meaning that it should apply the same to the alerts/notifications as it does to the ringer.

Unless something has changed (although the labeling of the sound controls seems to imply that it hasn't), it seems like the other likely possibility is that something isn't working correctly for some reason.
