Can I ask questions here on the MacBook Air

I am new to using MacBook Air and am hoping this forum is the correct place that I can ask questions. I have a lot of questions about the Big Sur operating system.

I may be new to the MacBook air, but I am not new to computer science having worked in Windows 10, Unix and Linux for years.

The question is just am I in the right place. If I am not please suggest another place.

this area is for macs and there are MacOS areas there along with hardware areas etc

you would be best off asking over there.
