Can I back up my phone to both my computer and icloud?

Is it possible to set it up so my iphone backs up to icloud, and also to my computer? Or is it simply one-or-the-other?

It's simply one or the other, but you can backup to iCloud and then iTunes. You'll just need to turn off iCloud backups as with it turned on, iTunes won't back your devices up.
