I signed up during the days of MobileMe and I use my @me email domain exclusively. I never touch the new @icloud domain that we all got when iCloud came to life.
However about 2 years ago I started getting emails directed to my @icloud domain. The email address is a common name and it appeared that someone thought this was their email address and started giving it out (it definetely wasn't Phishing scams, this was personal information about mortgates, loans, problems with their children at school). I had a few conversations with the senders trying to get them to report back to the person that this wasn't their email address.
Now I'm getting spam galore to the @icloud address. Again I'm good about avoiding phishing scams and my assumption is this person has signed their email up to something that has gotten it on a spammer list.
I'd happily nuke the @icloud domain never to use, but I know this isn't an option for non-alias emails. Is there a way to turn it off or block all emails directed to the @icloud and let in only the ones to @me?
