Can I bring my 2013 Macbook air back to life?

I have a macbook air that I bought used a long time ago. The hardware works fine. It is just the software side is obsolete. I get a lot of error messages on most websites and I assume it is because the OS is outdated. Can I do anything to bring it back to life? I assume I can't install any new OS on it.

Actually, MacOS Big Sur is supported on MacBook Air 2013, so you should be able to just download it from App Store.
