My Dad just got a new HDTV and it's awesome. I managed to download some of the HD movie trailers from Apple's page onto my intel iMac using QuickTime Pro and I was wondering if there is any way to burn the HD content onto a DVD for showing on my Dad's HDTV (Without wiring my iMac to it)
Keep in mind that I think our progressive-scan DVD player only does the 480p (or maybe it's 480i I can't remember) resolution and doesn't "up-scale" or anything (at least it doesn't say it does), I was just wondering if such a thing was possible, even if I had to use Toast or something. I just wanted to test some things out. All I have to work with is iMovie HD so I'm not going to run out and buy DVD Studio Pro or Final Cut pro just for this little test.
So...any ideas? Thanks
