this is the thing, i wanna get a mac for a cousin of mine who lives in the US as a present, is it possible for me to sign up to the applestore and pay for the mac with my credit card and have the mac sent to her as a surprise gift? i live in greece btw

Yes. The only restriction Apple has on sales is shipping must be to a US address.

ok, this is confusing, i read that there's a 10% tax in chicago where she lives, aren't the applestore prices tax-included? or is there tax on top of that?

Welcome to shopping in North America..... taxes are additional to the advertised price (unless the state has no sales taxes).

So basically if i order it online i will get tax added to it after i pick the state i want it delivered in?
