a simulacrum
this is the thing, i wanna get a mac for a cousin of mine who lives in the US as a present, is it possible for me to sign up to the applestore and pay for the mac with my credit card and have the mac sent to her as a surprise gift? i live in greece btw

Yes. The only restriction Apple has on sales is shipping must be to a US address.

ok, this is confusing, i read that there's a 10% tax in chicago where she lives, aren't the applestore prices tax-included? or is there tax on top of that?

Welcome to shopping in North America..... taxes are additional to the advertised price (unless the state has no sales taxes).

Whaaaaaaaaaaat?! That sucks!
So basically if i order it online i will get tax added to it after i pick the state i want it delivered in?
