Can I buy the macbook air 2020 base model for coding and making music?

I am currently in the market or a new laptop. I was wondering if the base model MacBook Air base model is enough for coding and making music.

For coding it really depends on what you are coding on it. For me I need to run a few dozen docker images that all eat RAM and CPU cores so I wouldn't consider the MacBook Air a viable option, not when even the 6 core pro can struggle. I am sure the sound guys will tell you the same. But it really depends on what tools you are using and to what level/complexity.
