Can I buy an old iPhone when my friend buys the new 3G, and jailbreak it for Tmobile, but still be able to use the new apps and Mobile Me? Will I need to wait for the public release of the 2.0 jailbreak to come out, or will the current hack work?

i'm pretty sure it will work fine.
the dev team currently jb/unlocked 2.0 already but its not out for public yet.
current hack doesnt work (except for 2.0 beta, which i think is pointless)
just wait and see.
