I have one of the original iPod Photo's (4G, 40GB). I think this was the first iPod to have color. But I am thinking I might actually prefer the old greyscale. Is there a way to do this?
I was considering changing the firmware to an older version with greyscale, but my main question here is: When you downgrade firmware, do you have to restore the iPod? It's not worth it to me if I'm going to have to re-sync all the music.

I don't know if anyone ever did a fake one for iPodWizard (and I forgot if it even ever came to the Mac), but yeah, you'd have to restore and re-sync to do all that.
