Hi

I would like to make a small app that needs to change the wallpaper (the img that shows when the device is locked).

i don't want to get a popup that leads me to the page where i can do it manually.

can this be done?
if yes, could you, please, give me some hints on where to look for?
if no, could you, please, quickly explain why?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Alex

I would have thought that you *could* do this since I imagined that the photo app does it so that it must be in the API, but I googled and found the following link which says that it can't be done.

Apple apps have access to private APIs which let them do things like change the wallpaper. Non-Apple apps can't change the wallpaper.
