iPod Can I charge my Shuffle (G2) using the usb wall adapter for the iphone?

I have a second generation shuffle and I'm wondering if I can use the USB/Wall adapter that comes with the iphone and put it on the shuffle charger so I can charge it directly from an outlet.

it should work fine. However, if you want to be completely sure, I could test it for you tonight. I am pretty sure I used the iPhone charger myself before, though.
