Can I control the fan speed and resolutions of MacBook Pro 17" 2010 (Windows 11 Pro)

Hi, I installed Windows 11 on my MacBook Pro 17" 2010. It is currently the only OS on the Mac and no bootcamp was involved during the installation. The native resolution of the built-in LCD is 1920x1200. Is it possible to get higher resolutions via some kind of software trick? Also, the fan noise is annoying even I conducted a thermal repasted. Is there any 3rd party software that works well in this setup?
