so i had an approx 70gig music library before turning to apple music. in the year ive had apple music i have gotten pretty good playlists and put my library i had before on a backup external hdd. now i have an iphone that can fit my whole library...

can i download all my apple music ive put in playlists the past year into my own library? and then throw on my iphone so i dont need apple music anymore. confusing? if so, lemme know and i can try and break it down more. thanks!

Turn off iCloud Music Library on iPhone and iTunes.

Music that was downloaded with Apple Music that was not purchased/imported from CD (assuming it was not replaced with Apple Music files) requires an active Apple Music subscription to play them.
