hey guys. I bought my first pair of Airpods, just a cheap knockoff version from TUMUUN called A3 Pro. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZLC1FH2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

They fit perfectly and I already did a phone call with them. However, they are a bit dull and bassy for phone call, I need to boost mids and highs. Is there a way to do this via iPhone? I see various EQ settings available but they're all presets like "Classical" etc. I just want to look at an EQ app and customize it myself.

Lastly, is there a way to do this for headphones (airpods) only, and have it not affect audio when I connect to my car speakers, which I do via Lightning to USB in my Highlander. I know that's a lot and they're no Apple airpods, but hoping someone knows. Thank you!

Go into Accessibility and look for Headphone Accommodations. In there you can make all kinds of adjustments like making the sound brighter. You can even make adjustments that only apply to phone calls. But HA only works for Apple audio devices.
