Hey there,

I'm 18, just graduated H.S. and I'm going to finally purchase my first own Macbook Pro, after years of waiting. I went to one of the local Apple Stores yesterday and a lady told me that I can't do the 7200rpm HD upgrade in-store, only RAM.

Do all the Apple Stores work like that? Sucks that it isn't standard in the high-end 15/17" models. I was planning on purchasing everything at the Apple Store with cash, as I don't think I have means of purchasing it myself otherwise, seeing as how my Check Card has a limit of $1500.00 daily.

I'm also debating whether I want to get the high-end 15" or the 17". The 17" doesn't really seem much bigger, the high resolution is really appreciated as I am used to it with my monitor at home.

No if you want the 7200rpm you got to do it online built to order, you can always buy a prepaid debit card and but all the money in there soo you can buy it online
