I just got about 40 gigs of music from a friend's computer and I want to back it up onto my hard drive or onto itune. Is there anyway that I can do this? I've done some scouting and apparentls there is a program that you can download, but I think that it's for an older version of itunes. Thanks!

I use Yamipod to transfer music back and forth between between the ipod. They have a version for both Windows and Mac and you run it right off the ipod's hard drive so you can use it on pretty much any computer. It's really small too so even on our 2GB nano it's not a big deal to have those two programs on the HD.

Or you could just just set you iPod into disk mode and it can be used like a memory stick. Just drag and drop the files you want to move onto it and then plug it into the other computer. The ipod will show up as a hard drive and then you can just drag the files from there onto your desktop.
