So far, it doesnt look like it - not on the UK education store anyway. Shame really.

no you can't. its gotta be the old nano/ipod. even they had new macbooks today, you couldn't get that either :D

definitely no. and plus, if you want to sell your free nano to purchase a new one, your old nano won't sell for a lot now that the new ones are out.

although saying this - when you click to buy a macbook etc in the edu store it takes you to askin if u wanna purchase an ipod - and there are only the old ones visible.

BUT - on the rebate form it says you can have the "4GB iPod Nano"....so technically...... lol

Yeah, I just looked at the rebate form... only the old part numbers apply. I guess this is a good way for Apple to get rid of the old models haha.

in the UK, with edu discount, the old iPod Nano 2gb is £99.01....is the rebate for that still £100?

so now its completely free right?

I'm pretty certain that they'll be updating the FAQ in the next day or so - because at the moment, the don't actually sell ANY of the listed iPods, and they still have an ad for the deal on the UK store homepage.

Having said all that, I've had a good look at both the FAQ and T&C on the rebate form, and there are no SKUs mentioned - Apple would have a hard time refusing a rebate on a 4Gb iPod nano because you bought a 4Gb iPod nano instead...
