I am trying to help my mother set up a new iPad Air, which requires updating to the latest iOS first before restoring from the backup on her previous device. Unfortunately, she's in a very rural area with atrocious internet speeds. Like...barely a step above dial up, which means she's having issues. I was thinking maybe I could download the update on my MacBook using my internet and then take the MacBook to her to update the iPad. Is it even possible to download a sort of "stand alone" iPadOS file?

(FYI...I'd just have her come to me, but I live almost three hours away and she doesn't drive long distances so that's not really feasible.)

Thank you in advance for any advice!
