I have an iPhone 4 with iOs 6.1.3. Can I jailbreak it with an untethered jailbreak?

I am almost completely new to this, besides watching youtube videos and reading websites. I have backed up my iPhone, but I never saved the SHSH blobs (I don't really know what those are). Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You can only jailbreak tethered (meaning you have to use your computer every time you want to boot your device). There is a work around using redsn0w and an iOS 6.0 ipsw (not a typo) to trick redsn0w into thinking you are on iOS 6.0 and jailbreak. Plenty of videos on Youtube for this and a bunch of articles on Google.
