Sorry if that word (jailbreak) is not allowed in here.
I have an iphone 5s with IOS 8.
I really don't like it and it's made my phone slow.
I want to go back to ios 7 and the only way I can see this happening is if I jailbreak my phone and install a jailbroken ios 7 firmware.
Can I do this?
And if I did - will it still connect to app store to buy apps?

Or is there any other legit way of installing ios 7 on my phone?

There is no way do downgrade to ios 7, with or without jailbreak.
What I find very strange is, were did you get this idea, that 5S is slow on IOS 8. I have 5S on 8.1 jailbroaken, works perfectly.

It's definitely slow on ios 8!
my 5s is the 64gb version and i have 30gb free space still.
i have 39 apps
33 songs
104 videos
1694 photos

so it's not like my phone is stuffed! but it's definitely slow and i'm not enjoying the new IOS.

regarding jailbreaking - can i install a jailbroken ios7 firmware on mine?
i read about pangu's ios 7 so i was wondering if i can install that on mine?

From what I know (which is limited I know), there's no way to downgrade to iOS7, regardless of jailbreaking. Pangu for iOs 7 is a tool to jailbreak an iOS7 phone, not an actual version of iOS that you can install.

Oh I see. Thanks. I just wondered coz when I was reading up on Pangu yesterday, it gave me the download link for ios 7 fw hence I decided to ask..
