hi everyone,

i am about to recieve my new powerbook 15" tomorrow.

i am planning to move all my music over to my new mac from my windows XP PC.

i like to keep archives of podcasts i download so i can have an extensive podcast directory, such as adam curry's daily source code and z100 phone taps, and i would very much like to keep them, as they have a lot of good podsafe music on them.

my question is, when i copy all my music over to my mac (via ipod HD) will all the podcasts go with it? or will they have to be re-downloaded and re-subscribed? are the podcasts kept in the 'my music' folder?

any help or guidance greatly appreciated

On the mac, Podcasts are simple music files that are stored into this location (by iTunes' default)

~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Podcasts/

And you may take them from there and place them wherever you want.

On the PC, iTunes should work the same way. In your Music folder, look for a folder named "Podcasts", which stores your posdcasts.
