Just upgraded to the latest and greatest and since i'm finally on iOS 9, I really want to turn on Apple's Family Sharing feature and add my family but am wondering how much control of privacy each member and the organizer have in limiting what to view. A fair point raised my 2 others to which I brought up the idea in enrolling. If so, is it limited to apps or more such as iTunes?

Yes, you can hide purchases from your family group. This includes Apps, Music, Movies, Books, etc.
