Can I make a shortcut widget sized?

Hi - my mother had a stroke about a month ago and is really struggling to see icons on her phone and has really lost her ability to work with numbers so phone numbers are out. I'm trying to see how I might help her connect so here is my question. Is there way I can make a shortcut into a widget and add a custom photo? Is that a thing? I'm essentially trying to make a large picture(s) on her home screen so she can simply click my picture and it calls me. If my thought isn't possible I'm open to any help you all might have, thank you!

Another option would be to install an app such as:

- Launcher (the original) see also their website.

and use the homescreen widgets.
