Somewhere
So I'm thinking about jailbreaking my 4s. Mostly what I'd want to do with it is make it so that the default maps app is google maps, also if I could hide some of the default apps like stocks and newsstand that I don't use that would be great to. So can you do those things with a jailbreak, and what tweaks would I need to install?

Springtomize 2 allows you to hide any icons you want to...

there has been word on apps making google maps the default app, but I believe they don't work really well right now. They will absolutely be creating this in the near future though

:)

For making Google Maps the default, try MapsOpener or Browser Changer. I personally use Browser Changer to make Chrome my default browser, and it comes with an option to make Google Maps your default maps app.

I do the exact same thing with it.
