I often find myself having to take phone calls while I'm sitting with my MBP is on my lap. Is there a way to use the microphone and speakers in the computer to conduct calls through the iPhone/AT&T network, connecting the devices via bluetooth or USB??? I'd like to take calls directly through my computer.

Also, is there software available that would allow for sending and receiving SMS messages or whatever on the computer screen???

I think there should be a full suite of tools allowing full control of the iPhone on and through my computer, wirelessly and automatically. This would be lovely.

Google Voice is good, but I'm looking for something more native to OS X/AT&T.

Thanks!

I wish there was a way to do that for voice calls... I was hoping with the opening of the iPhone to 3rd party apps to use bluetooth connectivity, that would have happened already.

I don't know of a way to do it (or send and recieve SMS on the computer, though that would be excellent as well. Anyone else?
